Song Joong Ki's New Film "Space Sweepers" Moves Press Conference Online At Last Minute

Upcoming film “Space Sweepers” has announced a sudden change in plans for its press conference.

On August 16, the producers of the highly-anticipated sci-fi blockbuster stated that they had would not be holding the press conference for the film offline, as originally scheduled. While the press conference was previously set to take place on August 18 at the CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall, “Space Sweepers” will now be holding the event online instead.

The producers explained that the change was due to the government’s recent decision to reinstate stricter social distancing rules, commenting, “In accordance with the recent upgrade to Level 2 of social distancing in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we have unavoidably changed the press conference to an online press conference.”

They added, “We ask for your understanding regarding any inconvenience we have caused through the sudden change.”

“Space Sweepers,” which stars Song Joong Ki, Kim Tae Ri, and more as space scavengers in the year 2092, is currently scheduled to premiere on September 23.
