Jun So Min Is An Elegant Art Gallery Curator Looking For Inspiration In New Film

The upcoming film “My Name” (literal translation) has released new stills of lead actress Jun So Min!

Directed by Heo Dong Woo, “My Name” is a melodrama about a woman who dreams of making her own art and an unknown painter as they work together to finish one last work of art. It stars Jun So Min, Choi Jung Won, Kim Jung Gyun, and Kim Dong Joo, as well as the painter Kang Hyung Goo.

The film will show a new side of Jun So Min, who has recently been more active on variety shows like “Running Man” and “The Sixth Sense.” She also played quirky, lighthearted characters in dramas like “Top Star Yoo Baek.”

In “My Name,” she plays the character Ri Ae, the deputy curator at an art gallery who has lived a life that others could only dream of. Through her discerning eye and judgment, she has taken care to only show the best side of herself. However, she dreams of completing her own work of art and approaches a street painter named Chul Woo (Choi Jung Won) with a request.

The film will premiere on October 14.
