Watch: Weki Meki's Choi Yoojung And Kim Doyeon Are "Single & Ready To Mingle" In New Web Drama Trailer

The upcoming web drama “Single & Ready to Mingle” (previously known as “Melo, Not Solo“) has released its main teaser!

“Single & Ready to Mingle” stars Weki Meki’s Choi Yoojung and Kim Doyeon as Bong Joo Yi and Ji Yeon Seo, two college students with zero dating experience. They both graduated from all-girls schools in middle school and high school and are currently enrolled in a women’s university. Somehow, they end up living in a share house with three men and finally find the first romance of their lives.

In the new trailer, Ji Yeon Seo convinces Bong Joo Yi to live in a co-ed share house named Sol House. The two friends are polar opposites when it comes to their approach to romance: Bong Joo Yi is shy and gets awkward whenever she’s around someone of the opposite sex, while Ji Yeon Seo lets her imagination run away with her and bulldozes ahead with every interaction.

Bong Joo Yi runs into Woo Seung Bong (Jung Hyo Joon) at a mixer, gets drunk, and ends up going to a café alone with him. Later, Woo Seung Bong promises to help her get used to being around guys as her “male friend.”

Ji Yeon Seo gets entangled with Kang Joon Woo (Kim Min Chul) and Ma Hoon (Moon Ji Hoo) at the share house. When Kang Joon Woo gives her shoes as a gift, she is convinced that he has a crush on her. However, the two soon clash over everything, with Ji Yeon Seo demanding, “Do you have to point out everything that I do wrong to my face?” and he retorts, “Should I do it behind your back then?”

Ma Hoon, on the other hand, is completely focused on himself, changing his career to be an actor after giving up on being an idol. Later, Ma Hoon’s younger sister, Ma Ho Young (Lee So Yul), wows the share house with her glamorous looks and sets her eyes on Woo Seung Bong.

“Single & Ready to Mingle” premieres on October 20 on KOK TV’s YouTube channel. It will also be released a week earlier on KT Seezn on October 13.
