Go Joon, Jo Yeo Jeong, Yeonwoo, And Kim Young Dae's Upcoming Comedy Thriller Drama Reveals Premiere Date And 1st Poster
The premiere date and a chilling new poster has been revealed for the upcoming KBS drama “If You Cheat, You Die” (literal title)!
“If You Cheat, You Die” is a comedy mystery thriller about adults who do bad things with a guilty conscience. Jo Yeo Jeong will play the bestselling crime mystery novelist Kang Yeo Joo, who’s always thinking about different ways of killing people. Go Joon takes on the role of her husband Han Woo Sung, a divorce lawyer who has made a written promise with his wife that states, “If you cheat, you die.”
The cast also includes Yeonwoo, Kim Young Dae, Song Ok Sook, Jung Sang Hoon, Lee Si Eon, Kim Ye Won, Hong Soo Hyun, Oh Min Seok, Lee Se Na, Bae Nu Ri, Kim Jung Pal, Kim Do Hyun, Lee Tae Hyung, Kim Soo Jin, Han Soo Yeon, Gong Sang Ah, Yoo Jun Hong, Song Seung Ha, and more.
The drama’s first poster contains an important clue, and it shows a document inside a plastic bag taped shut at the scene of a crime. Stained with blood, the document reads, “If Han Woo Sung has an affair with another person after he has married Kang Yeo Joo, Kang Yeo Joo will have all the rights to Han Woo Sung’s body.”
It appears that Han Woo Sung has signed the contract, which he wrote himself, and it also reads, “December 2” — the drama’s premiere date.
The production team commented, “The first poster, which is the document to sign away his body, is an original idea that came with the idea of Han Woo Sung working as a lawyer.” They explained that the document expresses Han Woo Sung’s love for Kang Yeo Joo and that the reason why the contract is a part of a crime scene will be revealed later.
They continued, “Jo Yeo Jeong, Go Joon, the cast, and the staff members are working hard to create a good drama while ensuring the prevention [of COVID-19] and everyone’s safety. Please look forward to it.”
“If You Cheat, You Die” premieres on December 2 after the conclusion of “Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol.”
