NCT Earns Title Of

Things are looking great for NCT as they break their own records a week into their comeback with “RESONANCE Pt. 1.”

Following its release on October 12, 815,628 copies of the album have been sold in Korea. This is in addition to 400,470 copies sold abroad, in countries like China and the United States, for a total number surpassing 1,216,098 copies (as of October 18).

Hitting the benchmark this time around is especially meaningful for NCT because it is their quickest and highest record — over a million sales in seven days. Added to the fact that the album accumulated and sold all 1.1 million stock pre-orders and approximately 100,000 more copies with its release, these feats show NCT’s increasing popularity.

NCT 127’s second full-length album made cumulative sales of over 1.4 million copies this year. NCT Dream’s “Reload” sold about 670,000 copies while WayV’s first full-length album from 2019 sold around 280,000. Total album sales for NCT from 2020 are over 3.6 million sales, indicating the group’s growing presence in the music industry.

Each NCT group has made significant achievements, which goes to show their potential to develop further in both domestic and global markets. Congratulations to NCT for their amazing feats!
