Moon Ga Young, Cha Eun Woo, And Hwang In Yeop Are High School Students With Secrets In "True Beauty"

tvN’s upcoming rom-com “True Beauty” has released new stills of its lead cast.

Based on a hit webtoon, “True Beauty” is a romantic comedy about Lim Ju Gyeong (Moon Ga Young), who zealously uses makeup to hide her bare face and combat her insecurities about her looks. After she meets Lee Su Ho (Cha Eun Woo), a popular student who has his own emotional wounds, they share each other’s secrets and learn to heal through love. Hwang In Yeop co-stars as Han Seo Jun, an untameable rebel with a surprisingly warm heart.

The lead actors have garnered attention for their close resemblance to the webtoon characters. In the new stills, Moon Ga Young shows her character Lim Ju Gyeong’s dedication to makeup. Cha Eun Woo captures his character Lee Su Ho’s good looks but also how he keeps himself closed off from his peers. Hwang In Yeop shows Han Seo Jun’s wild side as a group of frightened students looks on in the background.

“True Beauty” is directed by Kim Sang Hyub, who directed “Extraordinary You.” The drama premieres on December 9 at 10:30 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki.
