Watch: Shin Hye Sun And Kim Jung Hyun Show Both Playfulness And Dedication Behind The Scenes On "Mr. Queen"

tvN released some behind-the-scenes clips of episode 8 of “Mr. Queen,” along with some previously unreleased clips!

The video begins with a behind-the-scenes look at the scene in which Kim So Yong (Shin Hye Sun) collapses from a heart attack. Shin Hye Sun has trouble lying still as the other actors scream and make a fuss around her. Next, King Cheoljong (Kim Jung Hyun) has to pick her up in his arms but makes a cute mistake in his lines. Although he has trouble lifting her at first during rehearsals, he lifts her easily during the actual filming, impressing the cast and crew with his strength.

Kim Jung Hyun continues to show his dedication to his craft and attention to detail in other scenes. He kicks aside an assassin and the director compliments him by saying, “We don’t need a stunt double for this.” However, the actor is also playful with his co-stars, as when Shin Hye Sun makes a joke and he tells her she should improvise it into the scene. When she tries it out, however, he adds on his own ad-lib and makes her laugh. Later, Shin Hye Sun practices throwing a pot at his head and laughs at Kim Jung Hyun’s face when the director assures them the prop is safe.

In some previously unreleased clips, Shin Hye Sun practices running on the bridge and into the water, dodging the set’s light fixtures as she does so. She and Kim Jung Hyun rehearse a scene and he steps on her foot and she dodges when he playfully attempts it again. In the final scene, Shin Hye Sun and Seol In Ah are forced to have a stare-off as it takes Kim Jung Hyun a long time to limp away in the background, prompting the two actresses to burst out into laughter as soon as the director said “Cut.”
