Watch: "The Penthouse" Cast Is All Smiles On Set In Making-Of Video

SBS’s “The Penthouse” released never-before-seen footage from the set!

With the series gearing up for season two, the video is a welcome treat for all “The Penthouse” fans. The making-of video highlights the chemistry on set and adds a personal touch to the intense season that wrapped up earlier this month.

At the start of the video, viewers get a glimpse of what went on during the filming of a scene from episode 1. Cheon Seo Jin (Kim So Yeon), Shim Soo Ryeon (Lee Ji Ah), Joo Dan Tae (Uhm Ki Joon), and more are gathered at the 100-floor luxury penthouse apartment. To film a single scene of the characters playing indoor golf, the actors practice non-stop with a ball made of paper.

Another scene highlighted in the video is the fight between Cheon Seo Jin and Oh Yoon Hee (Eugene) that takes place backstage after a competition. Both actresses skillfully handle the fake blood and perform their parts seamlessly, completing the shot in one try. After Kim So Yeon finishes her take, a couple staff members can be heard off-camera commenting, “Wow.”

The younger cast members also have great chemistry, both on and off-camera. Ha Eun Byul (Choi Ye Bin), Yoo Jenny (Jin Ji Hee), Joo Seok Hoon (Kim Young Dae), Joo Seok Kyung (Han Ji Hyun), and Min Seol Ah (Jo Soo Min) can be seen huddled around a car while filming a scene. Bae Ro Na (Kim Hyun Soo) joins them in yet another scene and they joke and have a good time.

In episode 8, Lee Kyu Jin (Bong Tae Kyu) puts on a show for the residents. The making-of video shows how Bong Tae Kyu learns dance moves on the spot from a double. His attempts at dancing gives the surrounding cast members a reason to laugh, making for a fun and lighthearted atmosphere on set.
