Jo Byeong Gyu Confirmed To Join Yoo Jae Suk's New Variety Show; KBS Reveals More Details
It’s official: Jo Byeong Gyu has joined the cast of Yoo Jae Suk’s upcoming KBS 2TV variety show!
On February 8, KBS confirmed that the rising star would be joining Yoo Jae Suk’s highly-anticipated new variety show, which is currently aiming to premiere sometime in the first half of this year.
KBS also revealed new details about the program, which had previously been described tersely as an “outdoor reality show.” According to the network, the upcoming reality show will feature celebrities going back to the places where they first began their lives in Seoul after moving to the city. There, they will meet the young people who are living in those places now and cheer them on as they chase their own dreams.
The producers of Yoo Jae Suk’s new variety show commented, “As soon as Jo Byeong Gyu heard the concept of our program, he was very forward about wanting to take part, to the point where he pretty much decided to join right there on the spot.”
“Both Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Byeong Gyu are extremely excited about having each other as partners,” they continued. “Please keep an interested eye on what kind of chemistry these two mega-popular stars will have on the show.”
After skyrocketing to fame two years ago with his performance in the ratings juggernaut “SKY Castle,” Jo Byeong Gyu has continued to prove himself as an actor by starring in the hit dramas “Stove League” and “The Uncanny Counter.” He recently made a guest appearance on Yoo Jae Suk’s MBC variety show “How Do You Play?“, where he talked about hoping to join the “Yoo line” and become a member of Yoo Jae Suk’s squad.
