Watch: Lee Seo Jin And Lee Joo Young Work Together To Prevent Tragedy In

Times” has shared a further look at its intriguing story through a highlight video!

The upcoming show from OCN is a time-warp political mystery drama starring Lee Joo Young as Seo Jung In, the daughter of South Korean president Seo Gi Tae (Kim Young Chul). Through a phone call, she is mysteriously connected to a journalist named Lee Jin Woo (Lee Seo Jin) who is living five years in the past. Using this, she attempts to prevent the death of her father, but she stumbles upon a dangerous truth in the process.

A new highlight video gives a further look at the plot, and it opens by introducing the two characters. Seo Jung In begins by saying, “I’m not the president’s daughter Seo Jung In, I’m DBS reporter Seo Jung In.” She tells someone passionately, “Whether it takes 10 years or 20 years, it has to be rectified.”

Lee Jin Woo runs from people pursuing him before leaning out of a car to yell, “Hey! The article is going out tomorrow so tell them to sue! I’m Lee Jin Woo from Times!” He says in a narration, “I’m going to find out and track down everyone who killed him. I’m going to make it right.”

In 2015, Seo Jung In’s father is killed while campaigning for the presidential election, and she’s suddenly treated like an outsider at the DBS offices. “In one morning, everything changed. As if it had been manipulated,” Seo Jung In says.

She can’t accept the reality of what’s happened and continues to be tormented by it, when one night she receives a strange phone call. It’s Lee Jin Woo, who keeps asking her for an interview, saying that she’d agreed to do so in order to help her father. He tells her the time for him is 2 p.m. on October 10, 2015. When she realizes that he’s living in a time before her father died, Seo Jung In seizes this miraculous opportunity and suggests they work together.

Although initially Lee Jin Woo asks if he’s really supposed to believe he’s been connected to the future, he agrees to trust her. However, he asks her how he’s doing in the future, and she tells him that he died. The highlight video gives a glimpse of the scene of his death, where it appears that he was stabbed. With the pair now cooperating in their separate times, they aim to prevent the shooting of Seo Gi Tae and save his life, while Lee Jin Woo is aiming to stop his own death.

“I’m not going to leave it to the police anymore,” says Lee Jin Woo. He yells, “We have to grab onto it until the end and set things right whether 10 years, 20 years, or 100 years pass by!” Seo Jung In knows the movements of the murderer on the day they killed her father, so Lee Jin Woo tries to track them down following the information she gives him. Things don’t seem to go as planned, and Lee Jin Woo is told by someone that it seems like he was mistaken. “I wasn’t mistaken, it was definitely here!” he says.

Lee Jin Woo then reminds Seo Jung In, “We know where you guys will go,” and he runs through the crowd at a campaign event. There also turns out to be an unexpected connection between the two of them: Lee Jin Woo’s younger brother Lee Geun Woo (Ha Jun), who died in 2014, had been an aide to assemblyman Seo Gi Tae.

As they attempt to change the past, the present changes too, and no one knows what “butterfly effects” will occur. “The more we try to do something, the more things seem to go wrong,” says Lee Jin Woo regretfully. Seo Jung In tells him that he’s the only person who can change the past. The largest key point of the show will be finding out what butterfly effects will be caused by the pair’s search for the truth.

The production team shared, “We’re working hard to convincingly portray the disordered timeline that’s occurred because of the time-warp. Please continue to show interest in the big and small teasers that will be released up until the premiere.”

“Times” premieres on February 20 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
