Lovely’s Mijoo recently shot a pictorial for the magazine The Star.

The photo shoot was held under the theme of lazy spring days, and the photos show a more serious and sophisticated side of the usually cheerful and bright idol.

In the interview, she said, “I’ve never thought pastel looked good on me, but I found a new look while shooting today.”

Mijoo also talked about doing music and participating in variety shows. She explained, “They’re completely different from each other. On variety shows, I show my true self and not the idol Mijoo, and on stage, I want to show my unexpected charm and be an aspiring person as an idol through performances.”

She also shared her thoughts on what she’s truly like. She commented, “When I’m soft, I become infinitely soft. I’m the type of person who cries with someone when they cry.”

When asked about the concepts she wants to try, Mijoo said, “I want to try a strong concept, like something that’s confident, sexy, and funky. For seven years, Lovelyz just showed their lovely side, so my goal is to now show a mature side.”

Lastly, Mijoo discussed her plans and hopes for this year. She shared, “I want to live as someone who does their best. I’ll become someone with tireless energy. My wish is for Lovelyz to have another online concert. I want to release a solo album too, and I hope many people love Lovelyz.”
