Girl's Day's Minah And Kwon Hwa Woon Turn Into A Blissful Couple In "Check Out The Event"

MBC’s upcoming drama “Check Out the Event” has unveiled new stills of Girl’s Day’s Minah and Kwon Hwa Woon!

“Check Out the Event” is an upcoming romance drama about two ex-lovers who win a couples trip in a lottery that they entered before breaking up. In order to go on the trip, they pretend to still be together as they travel to Jeju Island with several other couples.

Minah will star in the drama as Ha Song Yi, a coordinator at a botanical garden who goes through a rough patch after breaking up with her longtime boyfriend, while Kwon Hwa Woon will star as her ex Park Do Kyum, the secretly soft-hearted leader and vocalist of an indie band.

The newly released stills give a glimpse of Ha Song Yi and Park Do Kyum’s happy days as a sweet couple. They look happy just to be with each other, and their expressions are bright with affection. The two naturally display their love as they strike different poses for the camera. They seem to be truly in love, so curiosity is mounting over why they broke up and how this trip will change their relationship.

The production staff of the drama stated, “Many people will relate to how Ha Song Yi and Park Do Kyum feel after breaking up. The couple chemistry between Minah and Kwan Hwa Woon is much better than we imagined. It seems like they’re creating synergy in order to become more immersed in each other’s feelings.”
