Highlight's Yoon Doo Joon, Ra Mi Ran, Park Jin Joo, And More Confirmed To Star In "Honest Candidate 2"

The sequel to 2020’s hit comedy film “Honest Candidate” confirmed their cast and started filming on July 31!

Ra Mi Ran will be returning as Joo Sang Sook, a National Assembly member that found herself unable to lie right before a new round of elections. “Honest Candidate 2” will continue her story as she attempts to return to the political scene.

By her side will be Park Hui Cheol (Kim Moo Yeol), her trusty and comedic aide. It is expected that he will again be faced with challenges in taking care of the aftermath of Joo Sang Sook’s various hiccups. Another returning cast member is Yoon Kyung Ho, who plays Joo Sang Sook’s immature husband.

The film will also feature Seo Hyun Woo from the drama “Flower of Evil” and the upcoming movie “Ghost” (literal title), along with Park Jin Joo from “Sunny” and “Jealousy Incarnate” and Highlight’s Yoon Doo Joon from “Let’s Eat,” “Radio Romance,” and “Splash Splash Love.” The spectacular cast is set to deliver more laughs and more chemistry with their performance onscreen.

“Honest Candidate 2” will be directed by director Jang Yoo Jung, who has been behind “Finding Mr. Destiny” and “The Bros” as well as “Honest Candidate.”
