Watch: Girl's Day's Minah And Kwon Hwa Woon Banter Playfully Before Filming Begins For "Check Out The Event"

MBC’s “Check Out the Event” released exciting new behind-the-scenes clips!

“Check Out the Event” is a new romance drama starring Girl’s Day’s Minah and Kwon Hwa Woon as two ex-lovers who win a couples trip in a lottery that they entered before breaking up. Hoping to recapture his heart and change his mind about their breakup, Ha Song Yi (Minah) persuades her ex-boyfriend Park Do Kyum (Kwon Hwa Woon) to go on the trip with her to Jeju Island.

The first making-of video begins with Minah and Kwon Hwa Woon getting ready to ride a bicycle across the stunning seaside path on Jeju Island. Minah can’t hold in her excitement as she points out the making-of camera to Kwon Hwa Woon. The two wave good morning to the viewers in sync.

Kwon Hwa Woon asks Minah for a massage, and when Minah complies, Kwon Hwa Woon jokingly asks, “What are you doing?” Ignoring his question, Minah cheers him on and shouts, “Have strength!” Kwon Hwa Woon explains, “She’s naturally a really considerate friend.” Getting ready to take off, Minah waves and shares, “We’ll be back!” but they get stuck in the same position for a few minutes. Minah comments, “We’re not going. I already said farewell. That’s embarrassing.” She adds, “You’ll get burned if you wear short sleeves,” before finally riding off on the bicycle.

In the next making-of video, Kwon Hwa Woon explains, “She just came back from cheating, and she’s happy in the scene because she didn’t get caught.” Feeling wronged, Minah defends herself by sharing, “I didn’t cheat. You abandoned me and left.” Kwon Hwa Woon proceeds to pat Minah on her helmet. He continues, “Who has Song Yi cheated with? If you tune in to the broadcast, you can find out.”

Another scene has Minah wandering in the forest as she films a self-cam. She explains, “Park Do Kyum is looking for me right now. Special correspondent Minah will try to get coverage.” Eventually, Kwon Hwa Woon finds Minah and shares in an interview, “Everyone has worked hard. It’s time to get off work. Tomorrow is finally a resting day, so I’m going to eat grilled black pork belly.” Finally, Kwon Hwa Woon shares that his hair is the body part he is most confident in.
