Kwon Yool Can't Bear To Watch Kim Min Jae And Park Gyu Young Together In "Dali And Cocky Prince" Poster

KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Dali and Cocky Prince” shared a new poster of Kim Min Jae, Park Gyu Young, and Kwon Yool!

“Dali and Cocky Prince” is a new romantic comedy starring Kim Min Jae as Jin Mu Hak, a man who lacks schooling and book smarts but is extremely resourceful and talented at making a living, and Park Gyu Young as Kim Dal Li, a woman who is intellectually polished and comes from an elite background but doesn’t know how to take care of herself. Kwon Yool will be playing Jang Tae Jin, a blue-blooded company director and heir to one of Korea’s most prominent conglomerates.

Since the drama mostly takes place in an art museum, “Dali and Cocky Prince” previously released creative character posters in which the actors reinterpreted famous works of art. The newly released poster parodies the famous oil painting Dance in the Country by Pierre-Auguste Renoir. The new interpretation of the artwork previews the upcoming love triangle as Jang Tae Jin observes the painting in which Jin Mu Hak and Kim Dal Li are the stars of.

In the painting, Jin Mu Hak and Kim Dal Li look breathtaking as they slow dance together. Jin Mu Hak wears a clean white dress shirt with a blue suit and bowtie while Kim Dal Li wears a red hat with a floral print dress, yellow gloves, and a belt. The painting captures a beautiful moment of them blissfully dancing together.

Meanwhile, Jang Tae Jin is portrayed trying to catch glimpses of the merry couple dancing from the side while standing with his arms crossed in an uncomfortable angle. His subtle frown and crooked posture convey the idea that he’s prepared to stop the couple’s merriment at any moment, raising questions about the three characters’ relationship with one another.

The production team shared, “We captured the love triangle between the trio in the poster with Dal Li being happy while dancing with Mu Hak and Tae Jin having a hard time just watching Dal Li be like that. Please watch with anticipation to see how the drama will convey the picturesque romance by Mu Hak and Dal Li as well as Tae Jin’s discomfort from being unable to enter the world inside the painting.”
