Stray Kids, BTOB, Lee Mujin, ASTRO, BTS, And More Top Gaon's Monthly And Weekly Charts

Gaon has released its monthly rankings for August and its weekly rankings for the week of August 29 to September 4.

Monthly Album Chart

Stray Kids’ new full-length album “NOEASY” took the No. 1 spot on the album chart both for the month of August and for the week of August 29 to September 4, an impressive feat considering the album was released on August 23. TXT’s “The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE” took the No. 2 spot, followed by THE BOYZ’s “THRILL-ING” at No. 3, Red Velvet’s “Queendom” at No. 4, and ASTRO’s “SWITCH ON” at No. 5.

Weekly Album Chart

Stray Kids’ “NOEASY” topped the weekly album chart for the second week in a row, while BTOB’s special album “4U: OUTSIDE” entered the chart at No. 2. Red Velvet’s “Queendom,” THE BOYZ’s “THRILL-ING,” and JAY B’s “SOMO: FUME” all rose this week to round out the top five.

Monthly Digital Chart

Lee Mujin’s “Traffic Light” rose three places from last month to top the digital chart for the month of August. MSG Wannabe (M.O.M)’s “Foolish Love” and aespa’s “Next Level” continued to rank within the top five, although dropped to No. 3 and No. 4 this month. AKMU’s “NAKKA” (with IU) and Taeyeon’s “Weekend” rounded out the top five at No. 2 and No. 5 respectively.

Weekly Digital Chart

The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber’s “Stay,” which recently achieved a perfect all-kill on the Korean music charts, topped the digital chart for the week of August 29 to September 4. “Traffic Light” dropped one place to No. 2, while “Next Level” rose two places to No. 3. “Foolish Love” dropped one place to No. 4, and Red Velvet’s “Queendom” rose to No. 5.

Monthly Streaming Chart

In addition to the monthly digital chart, Lee Mujin’s “Traffic Light” also topped the streaming chart for the month of August. “Foolish Love,” “NAKKA,” “Next Level,” and “Weekend” rounded out the top five on this chart, the same songs as the monthly digital chart but with No. 2 and No. 3 in a different order.

Weekly Streaming Chart

Like the weekly digital chart, The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber’s “Stay” topped the streaming chart for the week of August 29 to September 4. No. 2 to No. 4 (“Traffic Light,” “Next Level,” “Foolish Love”) are the same as the weekly digital chart, while No. 5 on the streaming chart was taken by “NAKKA.”

Monthly Download Chart

ASTRO’s “After Midnight” topped the download chart for the month of August, followed by THE BOYZ’s “THRILL RIDE” at No. 2. AKMU’s “NAKKA” and ONF’s “Popping” took No. 3 and No. 4, and trot singer Lee Chan Won’s “Convenience Store” rounded out the top five.

Weekly Download Chart

For the week of August 29 to September 4, BTOB’s “Outsider” debuted on the download chart at No. 1. SHINee’s Key’s pre-release single, “Hate that…” (featuring Taeyeon), entered the chart at No. 2. “Stay” ranked No. 3, followed by new entries “Is it me?”, Baekhyun’s OST from “Lovers of the Red Sky,” and K.Will’s “Back in Time” for the webtoon “The Moon During the Day.”

Monthly Social Chart

August’s monthly social chart is the same as last month’s, with BTS, BLACKPINK, TWICE, and trot singers Lim Young Woong and Kim Ho Joong appearing in that order.

Weekly Social Chart

The social chart for the week of August 29 to September 4 was dominated by BTS and BLACKPINK at No. 1 and No. 2 as usual, followed by CL, Lim Young Woong, and TWICE at No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5.
