Ji Hyun Woo, Lee Se Hee, Park Ha Na, And More Introduce Their New KBS Drama "Young Lady And Gentleman"

The cast of KBS’s new weekend drama “Young Lady and Gentleman” shared reasons why viewers should be excited for the show!

“Young Lady and Gentleman” is about the romance that unfolds between a “rich gentleman” and a “poor young lady” as they try to find happiness while taking responsibility for their own choices. Through a diverse cast of characters, the drama tackles the conflict that arises due to age differences in a relationship, as well as themes of love, betrayal, greed, and jealousy.

Ji Hyun Woo stars as Lee Young Kook, a widower with three children. He introduced the drama as a “masterpiece” and said, “I want the drama to be remembered as the kind that makes you smile when you hear the title even after several years have gone by.”

Lee Se Hee stars as Park Dan Dan, who is hired by Lee Young Kook as a live-in tutor for his kids. She said, “‘Young Lady and Gentleman’ is the kind of drama that we grew up with but always took for granted. We’ve forgotten about how much we cherished and felt grateful for these kinds of shows. I wanted to greet everyone with the familiar and fun kind of KBS drama that my mom always watched while washing dishes.”

Kang Eun Tak, who plays Park Dan Dan’s uncle Cha Geon, said, “‘Young Lady and Gentleman’ is a roller coaster. The various incidents and storylines that happen to the characters that appear in the show will be fast and entertaining like a roller coaster.”

Park Ha Na, who plays Lee Young Kook’s employee Jo Sa Ra, said, “It’s a drama that you can’t take your eyes off of, whether it’s watching the chaotic characters, who can’t stay quiet for a single day, solve their various problems, or watching how a family comes together through their sincere love for each other.”

An Woo Yeon, who plays Park Dan Dan’s brother Park Dae Beom, said, “‘Young Lady and Gentleman’ is a spectacle. Every incident is funny, and like a ‘spectacle,’ things just keep happening, so there’s no time to be bored. It’s definitely a drama that can make you both cry and laugh.”

Yoon Jin Yi, who plays Lee Young Kook’s sister Lee Se Ryeon, said, “It’s a happy family drama for the weekend evening time slot. The characters are the familiar kind of people that you can see around you right now, and the story is about a family that goes through both sad and happy times. It’s a drama that makes you think of your own family, so I think it’s a very relatable story.”
