Ong Seong Wu, Park Ho San, And Seo Young Hee's New Drama Shares Photos From Script Reading

KakaoTV’s upcoming drama “Would You Like A Cup Of Coffee?” has shared photos from its script reading!

Based on a manhwa (Korean comic) by Heo Young Man, “How About a Cup of Coffee?” is about a young man named Kang Go Bi, whose passion for coffee leads him to become a rookie barista at a coffee shop owned by Park Seok.

At the script reading were Ong Seong Wu, Park Ho San, Seo Young Hee, Kim Ye Eun, Chu Ye Jin, and Song Jae Ryong. Although it was their first time working together, the cast managed to recreate the feeling of the warm coffee shop in the office and immerse themselves into their roles.

Ong Seong Wu will play the innocent and reckless Kang Go Bi, a rookie barista who is bursting with passion. He has nothing but passion to start with, but it leads him down the path to learning more about coffee and about the world. Park Ho San will play Park Seok, who appears cold and silent on the surface but is actually a warm-hearted mentor who steadily guides his young student.

Seo Young Hee will play Kim Joo Hee, who is Park Seok’s girlfriend in the original comic. She is divorced with one daughter, but her ex-husband occasionally still comes around to ask for money. Kim Ye Eun will play Ahn Mi Na, a comic illustrator and a regular customer at the coffee shop. Chu Ye Jin will play Jung Ga Won, a regular customer at the coffee shop who is working part-time instead of going to university in order to pursue her dream. Song Jae Ryong will play Choi Hurt, a blogger and coffee critic.

In addition to the photos, KakaoTV shared a short clip of the script reading, which also included scenes in the actual coffee shop itself.
