Watch: New OCN Drama "Chimera" Previews Explosive Action And Terrifying Suspense In New Teaser

OCN’s new drama “Chimera” has released its first teaser!

“Chimera” is a mystery drama about a violent crimes detective named Jae Hwan (Park Hae Soo), a criminal profiler named Yoo Jin (Claudia Kim), and a surgeon named Joong Yeob (Lee Hee Joon) who come together for their own reasons to uncover the truth behind “Chimera,” the serial killing case that recently restarted after 35 years.

Key to the serial killings in the past and present are explosions, which feature heavily in the new teaser. Park Hae Soo observes a formal funeral before someone lights a car on fire, as someone in the background says, “An individual with not just one DNA, but two,” explaining the drama’s title and the serial killer’s nickname of “chimera,” which in Greek mythology is a creature that combines multiple animals into one.

The teaser continues with the dire warning, “The monster has awakened,” as Park Hae Soo takes a photo of a chimaera drawn on the wall and Claudia Kim reels from shock on the pavement. As more explosions ensue, the characters start to panic and demand to know who the “chimaera” is. There are several shots of a mysterious figure in a hat and a mask that haunts the other characters, possibly the titular “chimaera.”

“Chimera” premieres on October 30 and will be available on Viki.
