Yoo Teo Tests Positive For COVID-19

Yoo Teo has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

On October 4, his agency C-JeS Entertainment shared the following statement:

Hello, this is C-JeS Entertainment.

Actor Yoo Teo tested positive for COVID-19 this morning (October 4).

After returning from filming in the United States on October 1, Yoo Teo tested negative for the virus. However, he showed signs of a high fever, and after being retested, it was confirmed that he had COVID-19.

Yoo Teo will suspend all his scheduled activities and follow the instructions of the disease control authorities. His family, staff members, and employees who came in close contact with him will also be tested as soon as possible.

We will do our best by actively cooperating with the health authorities, and we will work harder to manage our actors and staff.

Yoo Teo was in the States to film his upcoming Hollywood movie “Past Lives,” which is produced and distributed by A24, the company that also produced “Minari” and “Moonlight.”
