The 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards has released a new teaser with its host, Lee Hyori!

In October, it was confirmed that Lee Hyori would host 2021 MAMA, marking the first time that a woman has hosted the annual awards show.

In the new teaser, Lee Hyori appears in a flamboyant red gown interspersed with shots from her legendary career. In voice-over, she embraces the aspects that make her and MAMA stand out, such as being the first to set records, breaking past norms and limits, and setting new standards for original.

2021 MAMA will take place on December 11.

The 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards (2021 MAMA) has released its first teaser!

2021 MAMA’s concept is ‘Make Some Noise,” which expresses the power of music and K-pop to bring the world together and overcome the boundaries of nation, race, and generation.

The first teaser shows a stylized depiction of various points of light coming together to make the logo for 2021 MAMA. Lee Hyori, who will host this year’s show as the first female host in Mnet Asian Music Awards history, says in voice-over, “2021 MAMA. Make some noise.”
