Yoo Jae Suk Prank Calls Lee Kwang Soo + Yoo Jae Suk, HaHa, And Jung Joon Ha Talk About Their Kids' Dreams

On the November 6 episode of MBC’s “How Do You Play?”, Yoo Jae Suk made a phone call to an old friend and talked about his children’s dreams.

At the start of the episode, Yoo Jae Suk, HaHa, and Jung Joon Ha were in the dressing room, waiting for the other cast members (Shin Bong Sun and Mijoo). As they chatted casually, they began to talk about their children’s futures.

Jung Joon Ha said, “Roha has been really into art lately. His school recently had a talent show for art and he ranked in the top 10. I was proud that he reached the finals.”

HaHa said proudly, “Dream writes his own raps.” However, he added that Dream doesn’t have a lot of energy on stage and that he has high hopes for his youngest child.

Yoo Jae Suk said, “I have hopes for Na Eun. I think that she’s interested in dancing. She says herself that she wants to be an actor. I told Ji Ho that learning to dance would help him later in life, but he refused. I was also really shy when I was young. But I fooled around when I was with my friends. There are a lot of celebrities who are shy.”

Later, the cast received the mission for the episode and were heading to the shopping mall when Yoo Jae Suk decided to prank call some of his friends.

Yoo Jae Suk called Jo Se Ho first and said out of nowhere, “Give me 200,000 won [about $170].” Jo Se Ho made excuses about having a OTP (one-time password) card and how it wouldn’t work and tried to change the subject.

Yoo Jae Suk’s next target was Lee Kwang Soo. As soon as Lee Kwang Soo picked up, Yoo Jae Suk said, “Didn’t you become the promotional ambassador for some kind of bean [kong in Korean]?” Lee Kwang Soo corrected, “Mekong.” Yoo Jae Suk said, “Oh, the Mekong River in Vietnam? I misread that and thought it was some kind of bean ambassador. I thought, ‘Now that he’s not doing variety, he’s promoting beans.'”

(Specifically, Lee Kwang Soo is the honorary ambassador for The Year of Mekong-Republic of Korea Exchange, which celebrates the 10-year anniversary of the cooperation between Korea and Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand, the five countries around the Mekong River.)

He then asked Lee Kwang Soo for 200,000 won and Lee Kwang Soo replied, “Last month, I had zero won in income. It was the first time in 10 years,” referring to his no longer being paid as a fixed cast member on SBS’s “Running Man.”
