Winter Wonderland: 11 Trends K-Celebs Are Wearing To Keep Warm This Season

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and everyone is all decked up and ready to spend the most wonderful time of the year—in style. In South Korea, temperatures are now getting lower, but fashion is on high. K-pop celebrities and K-drama stars are gearing up for comebacks, various events, and festivities, which means there’s a lot of trends to be spotted. Here are some of the styles we’ve seen from the stars on and off-camera:

Red

This bright color isn’t so easy to wear on any normal day, but the holidays are calling for it! Some may think it’s cliché, but wearing the representative color of Christmas will surely brighten the dull, cold weather in winter. So whether it’s a full-on matching red suit or mixed with black patterns, these A-listers are making this hue even hotter!

Green

Another Christmassy color is green, which is one of the most popular and traditional hues this season, so it’s not surprising why these stars are rocking this exuberant shade. Below are different essential outfits to build your chic green wardrobe around: a warm corduroy coat, a figure-flattering green halter dress, and a silk power suit that can take you from day to night parties!

Statement winter hats

This season, the bigger the hat, the better. Of course, it not only keeps you warm and cozy, but it also makes a literally huge statement! Let it snow!

One style of hat seemed to steal the spotlight as it was seen worn by K-celebs in magazines, events, and their personal social media. This knit hat has its own category because it’s almost like a mix between a beanie and a swimming cap. Whatever it’s called, these stars sure know how to rock it!

Just like hats, boots and cozy footwear are essentials to keep your toes warm and toasty. Uggs are made cute and stylish by Oh My Girl members who modeled them in different styles. And who can forget BLACKPINK’s Lisa’s iconic winter boots for her “MONEY” music video?

Puffer jackets

It’s great to look fashionable in winter and all, but when it gets unbearably cold, puffer jackets are a no-fail choice! The extra padding enables you to wear fewer layers, and you can style it in sporty, casual, or dressy looks just like these fine gentlemen.

These K-drama couples have incorporated some of the best classic winter trends: brown, plaid, modern chic blacks, and traditional camel colors. Of course, you don’t need a plus one to enjoy and become fashionable this season!
