Key Points To Look Out For In Upcoming JTBC Mystery Thriller

Ahead of its upcoming premiere, JTBC’s “Artificial City” has shared key points to look out for!

“Artificial City” is an upcoming mystery thriller set against the backdrop of an art museum that belongs to Sung Jin Group, a major conglomerate that holds the reins of the political and financial spheres of South Korea. The drama is about the greed and ambitions of women who strive to reach the highest position in the nation.

Here are three key points to look forward to in the drama!

1. The tension and chemistry between Soo Ae and Kim Kang Woo

In “Artificial City,” Soo Ae and Kim Kang Woo play Yoon Jae Hee and Jung Joon Hyuk, a married couple who belong to a chaebol family in the top 1 percent of Korea. The duo will be joined by Lee Yi Dam, Kim Mi Sook, Lee Hak Joo, Kim Joo Ryung, Kim Young Jae, Kim Ji Hyun, Jung Hae Kyun, and Seo Jae Hee.

2. Will Soo Ae be able to make her husband the president?

As one of the Sung Jin Group’s daughter-in-laws and a woman of skill, money, and a close-knit family, Yoon Jae Hee lives a life that many are envious of. However, deep down, she strives for something much more – to go above and beyond and make her husband president. While Jung Joon Hyuk seems like the perfect partner to help Yoon Jae Hee achieve her goals, viewers can look forward to seeing how the mysterious docent Kim Yi Seol (Lee Yi Dam) and Seo Han Sook (Kim Mi Sook), Yoon Jae Hee’s mother-in-law and head of the Sung Jin Group family, start to affect the couple’s relationship.

3. The unconventional psychological mystery thriller that will awaken a new world of human insight

“Artificial City” will deliver the charms of a psychological mystery thriller through their characters who each have their own issues, but are all viciously interlaced with each other’s affairs. Especially through the keyword “greed,” the unpredictable drama will showcase the details of sharp human insight and characters experiencing a change of heart.

JTBC’s “Artificial City” premieres on December 8 at 10:30 p.m. KST. Check out a teaser here!
