2PM's Taecyeon Doesn't Hesitate To Show Affection To Kim Hye Yoon In "Secret Royal Inspector & Joy"

Get ready for a romantic moment in the upcoming episode of “Secret Royal Inspector & Joy”!

tvN’s “Secret Royal Inspector & Joy” is a historical comedy drama starring 2PM’s Taecyeon as Ra Yi Eon and Kim Hye Yoon as Kim Jo Yi. Taecyeon plays a young gourmand who is forcefully appointed as secret royal inspector (a government official who travels undercover to local provinces to inspect them and uncover corruption), while Kim Hye Yoon plays a divorced woman searching for happiness who winds up joining forces with Ra Yi Eon to investigate and battle corruption.

On the previous episode, Ra Yi Eon arrested Park Tae Seo (Lee Jae Gyun). Upon learning that he was the real culprit who killed the crown prince, Ra Yi Eon shed heartbroken tears as he recalled his nightmarish past. Kim Jo Yi asked Deokbong (Bae Jong Ok) about her connection to Gangbyeonsawoo but received no answer. After much consideration, Kim Jo Yi burnt the ledger, shocking viewers with her unexpected choice.

Newly released stills show Ra Yi Eon and Kim Jo Yi forgetting about their troubles and simply enjoying each other’s presence while cooking. The two gaze at each other with tender eyes, and joyful smiles are playing on their faces. In one photo, Ra Yi Eon’s nose is covered with flour as he pretends to sulk.

In particular, it’s shocking that Ra Yi Eon could be so affectionate when he’s never been in love his entire life. One still captures the heart-fluttering moment he gives Kim Jo Yi a back hug. Another still depicts Ra Yi Eon and Kim Jo Yi making sweet eye contact as they carefully cradle a small box together. Ra Yi Eon’s servants Yook Chil (Min Jin Woong) and Goo Pal (Park Gang Sub) watch them from afar with proud smiles, adding a hint of comedy to the romantic scene.

The production staff hinted that the villains who repeatedly cooperate and divide with each other will become both an obstacle and variable to Ra Yi Eon’s investigation. They added, “Please look forward to a story that will become more interesting the midst of a series of twists.”
