The 2021 KBS Song Festival has promised more thrilling collaborations and unit performances!

Previously, KBS announced that HYBE labelmates TXT and ENHYPEN would be performing an epic cover collaboration stage together.

On December 15, KBS announced that SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan and DK would be singing a duet together on the show. The two members are part of SEVENTEEN’s vocal line, with DK recently proving his vocal chops as a musical actor in “Excalibur” and Seungkwan participating in OSTs for dramas like “Record of Youth” and “Lovestruck in the City.” DK and Seungkwan also participated in the “Hospital Playlist 2” OST “Is It Still Beautiful.”

The other special stage is an epic girl group collaboration composed of nine members from six top girl groups in 2021. These girl groups are Red Velvet, Oh My Girl, Brave Girls, ITZY, STAYC, and IVE, though the nine members have not yet been announced. The girls will perform Girls’ Generation’s “Way to Go” as an anthem of positivity and strength.

KBS stated, “The SEVENTEEN vocal line members’ duet that sends warm comfort to everyone in the world, and the collaboration between representative K-pop girl group members with the message of taking strength, will move the hearts of audiences in the cold winter.”

The 2021 KBS Song Festival is scheduled for December 17, hosted by ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo, AOA’s Seolhyun, and SF9’s Rowoon. The performer lineup includes Red Velvet, Stray Kids, TXT, Oh My Girl, ITZY, THE BOYZ, aespa, ENHYPEN, Kang Daniel, Lee Mujin, SEVENTEEN, Sunmi, NU’EST, ASTRO, Brave Girls, NCT U, SF9, Kim Woo Seok, STAYC, and IVE.
