On January 18, Yuju released her solo debut album “REC.” with a music video for the title track “Play.”

Yuju participated in writing and composing “Play,” which is a medium tempo pop track that expresses the differences in emotions in a relationship when one person considers it play while another is sincere.

Get ready: Yuju is finally gearing up for her official solo debut!

On January 3 at midnight KST, the former GFRIEND member announced the date and details for her highly-anticipated official solo debut later this month, which will mark her first release since joining Kang Daniel‘s agency KONNECT Entertainment last year.

Yuju will be dropping her first solo mini album “REC.” on January 18 at 6 p.m. KST—and she has also shared a gorgeous first teaser for the release, which you can check out below!

Last year, Yuju signed with KONNECT Entertainment following GFRIEND’s disbandment and departure from Source Music in May.
