Watch: "Melancholia" Actors Say Bittersweet Goodbyes In Final Making-Of Video

tvN has released the final making-of video of “Melancholia”!

Set in a private school that is rife with corruption, “Melancholia” is a drama about a passionate math teacher named Ji Yoon Soo (Im Soo Jung) and a math prodigy named Baek Seung Yoo (Lee Do Hyun) who ultimately wind up changing each other’s lives forever.

The video starts with Im Soo Jung and Lee Do Hyun sharing their final comments on the drama. Lee Do Hyun expresses his gratitude towards Im Soo Jung and the other actors, saying, “I wouldn’t have been able to portray my character as well if I didn’t have the help that I received. This was a very meaningful experience for me, and I had a great time.”

Im Soo Jung also comments, “I think that meeting ‘Melancholia’ was like destiny for me. I can’t imagine us coming this far if anyone else other than Lee Do Hyun played his part. Thank you for all the love and support.”

Jin Kyung also shares, “I became really close with the staff members, so it’s quite bittersweet. I think I’ll remember my character for a long time because she was the most evil character I’ve played.”
