Watch: Red Velvet's Joy And Han Kyu Won Share Laughs While Filming Confession Scene In “The One And Only”

JTBC has released a behind-the-scenes look at Red Velvet’s Joy and Han Kyu Won’s confession scene!

“The One and Only” is an emotional romance drama about three terminally ill women who meet at a hospice. They decide that before they die, they want to take down one bad guy before they go – but in their attempt to take down just one person, they end up meeting the most valuable person of their lives. Ahn Eun Jin stars as Pyo In Sook, a woman recently diagnosed with a terminal illness, who joins Sung Mi Do (Red Velvet’s Joy) and Kang Se Yeon (Kang Ye Won) on a journey of realizing the meaning of life.

Oh Young Chan (Han Kyu Won (1986)) is Kang Se Yeon’s husband while Han Kyu Won (1992) plays Gu Ji Pyo, a third generation chaebol.

The video starts with Oh Young Chan trying to take Kang Se Yeon home after she tells him that she wants a divorce. Pyo In Sook and Sung Mi Do come to rescue her. Ahn Eun Jin practices grabbing and twisting Han Kyu Won’s arm to stop him from taking Kang Ye Won. Han Kyu Won acts like he is in an immense amount of pain as the director tells him, “She’s an extremely strong character.” As Han Kyu Won twists his body to portray the level of pain, the director says, “That is a golf stance!”

The behind-the-scenes video also shares a look at the filming of Gu Ji Pyo confessing his love to Sung Mi Do in episodes 5-6. Han Kyu Won strokes Joy’s hair while telling her, “Go out with me.” The director says, “Cut” as he jokingly tells Han Kyu Won, “Are you going to keep stroking her hair like a robot?” Han Kyu Won says, “Sorry” as Joy bursts into laughter.
