Hyeri Weeps Over News About Yoo Seung Ho In "Moonshine"

New “Moonshine” stills have been released!

“Moonshine” is a drama set in the Joseon era during the time when prohibition laws were at their strongest. The series tells the love story of Kang Ro Seo (Hyeri), a struggling aristocrat who starts illegally making alcohol in order to support her family, and Joseon’s greatest inspector Nam Young (Yoo Seung Ho), who is known for living a very principled life.

In the previous episode, Nam Young sent a love letter to Kang Ro Seo and promised to meet her. However, while carrying evidence that Shim Hun (Moon You Kang) was the head of an alcohol smuggling organization, he was stabbed and lost consciousness. Kang Ro Seo, while unaware of this situation, waited for Nam Young nervously.

Newly released stills show Kang Ro Seo weeping despondently after hearing the news about Nam Young. She cannot contain her emotions and collapses to the ground with tears flooding from her eyes.

On one side of Kang Ro Seo is Han Ae Jin (Kang Mina), who shares her sadness together. Han Ae Jin was previously in talks for marriage with Nam Young, but she broke off the engagement and supported Kang Ro Seo and Nam Young’s relationship. On the other side is Geum (Seo Ye Hwa), who attempts to console Kang Ro Seo through her sadness.

“Moonshine” airs every Monday and Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. KST.
