Kwanghee Tests Positive For COVID-19

Kwanghee has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

On March 7 KST, Kwanghee’s agency Bonboo ENT announced that he was diagnosed with COVID-19 on March 6. Read their statement below.

Hello. This is Hwang Kwanghee’s agency Bonboo ENT.

On March 6, Hwang Kwanghee received a positive COVID-19 test result.

After receiving a positive result from a self-test kit in the morning of March 6 (yesterday), he immediately went to a hospital near his house. Through a COVID-19 PCR test, he received a final positive test result in the evening of March 6 (yesterday).

Hwang Kwanghee has received three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and will halt all his activities. In accordance with guidelines from health authorities, he will quarantine and complete treatment at home.

While we thoroughly follow quarantine guidelines, we will continue to prioritize our artists’ health and safety and do everything we can to make sure he can focus on treatment and recovery.
