Im Joo Hwan In Talks + Lee Ha Na Reported To Lead New KBS Weekend Drama
Im Joo Hwan and Lee Ha Na may be working together in a new KBS drama!
On April 19, it was reported that Im Joo Hwan had received an offer for the male lead in KBS2’s upcoming weekend drama “Three Siblings Bravely” (literal translation). This lively family drama is about three siblings and follows the romance of Lee Sang Joon, the eldest son who got everything while growing up. The story unpacks what happens when he falls in love with Kim Tae Joo, who is also the oldest of her siblings but instead grew up sacrificing everything for her family.
Im Joo Hwan’s agency Blossom Entertainment responded, “Im Joo Hwan has received an offer for KBS2’s new weekend drama ‘Three Siblings Bravely’ and is positively reviewing.” If he accepts the offer, Im Joo Hwan will play the male lead Lee Sang Joon in his first-ever KBS weekend drama.
Reported to star opposite Im Joo Hwan is Lee Ha Na, who is said to have been offered the role of Kim Tae Joo. If she accepts, this will also mark Lee Ha Na’s first KBS weekend drama since her debut in 2006.
KBS2’s “Three Siblings Bravely” will air following the conclusion of “It’s Beautiful Now.”
