Davichi's Kang Min Kyung Tests Positive For COVID-19

Davichi’s Kang Min Kyung has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

On May 6, her agency released the following statement:

Hello, this is WAKEONE.

We are informing you about our artist Davichi’s Kang Min Kyung testing positive for COVID-19.

Kang Min Kyung was suspected of having COVID-19 symptoms early this morning (May 6), so she immediately conducted a rapid antigen test and was diagnosed with COVID-19 in the afternoon.

Kang Min Kyung has completed two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and she currently has no particular symptoms. She will halt all scheduled activities, go into self-isolation, and focus on treatment in accordance with the government health authorities’ guidelines.

Davichi’s Lee Hae Ri will also go into self-quarantine in keeping with our policy. She is not showing any particular symptoms at the moment, and we will continue to check her health.

In addition, Davichi’s comeback scheduled for May 16 will proceed without any changes.

We will put the artist’s health first and make an effort for her treatment and rapid recovery. We will do our best to ensure everyone’s health and safety by thoroughly following the health authorities’ guidelines.
