Kim Ji Won Is Ready To Run To Son Seok Gu's Side In "My Liberation Notes"

JTBC’s “My Liberation Notes” has revealed new stills ahead of tonight’s episode!

Helmed by “Law School” director Kim Seok Yoon and penned by “My Mister” and “Another Oh Hae Young” writer Park Hae Young, “My Liberation Notes” is a drama about three siblings who want to escape their stifling lives and the events that unfold when a mysterious outsider comes to their town. Kim Ji Won, Lee Min Ki, and Lee El star as the three frustrated siblings, while Son Seok Gu plays the alcoholic outsider that unexpectedly changes their lives.

In the previous episode, the veil was lifted on Mr. Gu’s mysterious past after his run-in with Mr. Baek (Choi Min Chul). It was revealed that someone Mr. Gu cherished had ended her own life, and he had fallen into a pit of self-hate as he felt that he had been responsible for her death.

Mr. Gu was threatened by Mr. Baek, as he is the girl’s brother. But just when Mr. Gu was about to fall into his trap, Yeom Mi Jung (Kim Ji Won) came to his rescue. With the two of them seemingly bound by fate, Yeom Mi Jung once again became his lifesaver.

New stills show Mr. Gu seeking out Mr. Baek. Unlike his usual face that hides his emotions, he is making his feelings of rage very evident through his expression as he faces Mr. Baek. As expected, Mr. Baek isn’t backing down, furrowing his eyebrows back at Mr. Gu.

On the other hand, another set of stills shows a complete change in Mr. Gu’s demeanor. Yeom Mi Jung is getting off work and walking together with her colleagues when she glances at her phone and dons a welcome expression. When she walks toward Mr. Gu, he greets her with a sheepish face, leading viewers to anticipate how their relationship will recover.

Episode 10 will see Mr. Gu revealing his true self and keeping Yeom Mi Jung at a distance. Despite his effort to remain far from her, Yeom Mi Jung will face him unwavering. Yeom Ki Jung (Lee El) will also meet Jo Tae Hoon (Lee Ki Woo) once again, and a moment that Yeom Chan Hee (Lee Min Ki) has only dreamed of will approach him.

This episode of “My Liberation Notes” airs on May 8 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
