“Why Her?” is a mystery romance drama starring Seo Hyun Jin as the titular Oh Soo Jae, a coldhearted lawyer who has grown empty after only chasing success, and Hwang In Yeop as law student Gong Chan who would do anything to protect her.

On the previous episode of the drama, Oh Soo Jae was arrested and imprisoned in a detention center. She told Song Mi Rim (Lee Joo Woo) that the words “bury Park So Young (Hong Ji Yoon)” in the video had been fabricated. In response, the members of the Legal Clinic Center, including Gong Chan, stepped up to reveal Oh Soo Jae’s innocence. With decisive evidence and Han Ki Taek’s (Jeon Jae Hong’s) sudden confession, the warrant for Oh Soo Jae’s arrest was rejected.

Newly released stills from the upcoming episode depict the calm after the storm. With the recent dangers surrounding Oh Soo Jae, Gong Soo Chan decides to take her to his place in order to protect her from everything that threatens her. In one photo, he watches her sleep and tenderly takes care of her to make sure she’s safe. Another photo shows him cooking a meal for her with a genuine heart. Oh Soo Jae must have realized his sincerity because she’s spotted smiling gently at him. She had been suffering the hardships alone, but she looks much more relaxed by his side. Their different atmosphere piques excitement for the changes in their relationship.

The drama’s production team teased, “Oh Soo Jae will begin to change through Gong Chan. Please watch to see how the 10-year secret between the two people who became each other’s saviors and comfort zone will unfold.”
