Update: ENHYPEN's Heeseung, Jake, And Jay To Halt Activities After Being Diagnosed With COVID-19

Heeseung is the third member of ENHYPEN to be diagnosed with COVID-19 this week.

On July 22, ENHYPEN’s agency BELIFT LAB announced that Heeseung had tested positive for COVID-19 following Jake and Jay’s diagnoses.

Hello. This is BELIFT LAB.

We would like to provide you with some information on ENHYPEN member Heeseung’s COVID-19 confirmation and adjustments in his activities.

Heeseung tested positive from a rapid antigen test on July 22 (Friday). He is currently showing symptoms like a mild cold and is being treated at home away from the other members.

In this regard, Heeseung will not be able to participate in ENHYPEN’s engagements for the time being. We will continue to provide an update on the artist’s plans on resuming his activities.

AIl ENHYPEN members have been staying separately at a single-person residence, away from one another since July 21 (Thursday).

Jungwon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki preemptively took self-tests on the morning and afternoon of July 22 (Friday) and the results came back as negative. Sunghoon took a rapid antigen test before the ‘Music Bank’ schedule and the result came back as negative.

The company places the artists’ health as our top priority, and we will do everything we can to aid Heeseung in his speedy recovery and to ensure that he can resume his activities in full health. We will also diligently cooperate with the requests and guidelines of the healthcare authorities.

Jake tested positive from a rapid antigen test on the afternoon of July 21 (Thursday). He is currently showing symptoms like mild body ache and is currently being treated at home away from the other members.

All other ENHYPEN members other than Jay and Jake also preemptively took self-tests on the morning of July 21 and rapid antigen tests on the afternoon of July 21, Thursday, which all resulted negative.

As such, Jake will not be able to participate in ENHYPEN’s engagements for the time being. We will continue to provide an update on his plans on resuming his activities. ENHYPEN will not be participating in this week’s “Music Bank,” “Inkigayo,” and “The Show.”

On July 21, ENHYPEN’s agency BELIFT LAB announced that Jay tested positive for the virus and is currently receiving treatment in self-isolation. Therefore, he will not be promoting with his members for the time being.

We would like to provide you with some information on ENHYPEN member Jay being diagnosed with COVID-19 as well as adjustments to his activities.

Jay used a self-testing kit and tested positive on the morning of July 21 (Thursday). He promptly took a PCR test, which also came back positive. He is currently showing symptoms like mild sore throat and body aches and is being treated at home away from the other members.

All the other ENHYPEN members also preemptively used self-testing kits on July 21, which came back negative for everyone.

As such, Jay will not be able to participate in ENHYPEN’s schedule for the time being. We will continue to provide an update on when he will resume activities.

Our company will place the artists’ health as our top priority, and we will do everything we can to aid Jay in his speedy recovery. We will also diligently cooperate with the requests and guidelines of healthcare authorities.
