August Variety Star Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has published this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety stars!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 50 popular entertainers, using big data collected from July 6 to August 6.

Yoo Jae Suk held onto his spot at the top of the list with a brand reputation index of 3,064,512, marking a 19.25 percent increase in his score since July. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “Yoo Pal Bong,” “Yoo-neu-nim,” and “advertisement model,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “appear,” “advertise,” and “participate.” Yoo Jae Suk’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 85.97 percent positive reactions.

Lee Sang Min climbed to second place for August after seeing an impressive 106.34 percent rise in his brand reputation index since last month. The star’s total score for the month came out to 2,319,047.

Finally, Kim Jong Kook third place in the rankings with a brand reputation index of 1,938,801, marking a 21.62 percent increase in his score since July.
