Jin Tae Hyun And Park Si Eun Announce Their Miscarriage
Jin Tae Hyun and Park Si Eun have announced their miscarriage.
The couple first shared the news of their pregnancy this past February and described their difficult journey experiencing multiple miscarriages.
On August 19, Jin Tae Hyun took to Instagram to announce their miscarriage less than three weeks before Park Si Eun’s due date.

Hello, this is Jin Tae Hyun.
On August 16, 2022, the final month of pregnancy, on a sunny regular check up day after the heavy rain and wind, our baby Tae Eun’s heart stopped beating for no reason.
If she endured just three more weeks well, we could’ve seen her lovable face but with exactly 20 days remaining, she left us. After giving mom and dad hope, love, and everything else for the past nine months, she’s left only without showing us her face.
Receiving love and support from so many people, I think our Tae Eun would’ve been really happy. Once again, I bow my head and thank you. I do not regret the times we were invited to broadcasts or the times I shared on social media. I will keep them as memories. Thank you so much for supporting us.
In the future, I will have to take good care of my wife’s heart and help lots by her side so her body can recover well too. Thank you so much to everyone who has shown love for us as a couple. We will really cherish this miracle-like time that sought us out and as always, overcome it well. Although my tears won’t stop, I must get back up for my family so I will only cry a bit more and then stop.
The experience of waiting for my wife outside the surgery room for different reasons than the other fathers waiting for their child was not only humbling, but an incredibly precious experience that made me deeply reflect on my entire life.
Fathers waiting for new life and a father who was waiting for new life. I don’t know whether the time up until now was a dream or whether the time after sending off my child is a dream, but everything is reality and I have to accept it well in order to pass this period in a healthy way.
I will love my wife even more than I do now and be with her in everything she does. It’s a relief that we loved our Tae Eun so, so much without regret for the past nine months. Although I’m very sad, thinking that God will play with her instead of me makes me smile a bit. Later, I hope our Tae Eun can live together with dad in heaven.
I’m someone who believes in God. We will recover well. And next time, we will definitely run the full course. Please pray for us and my wife.
We will keep all the presents from our fans and acquaintances for our different Tae Eun who will return and use it for that child.
To my love Si Eun whom I love, this is not misfortune or anyone’s fault so let’s not blame ourselves. I guess this is just a period where we have to be sad again. You’ve done well carrying Tae Eun for the past nine months. Rest now. And no matter what anyone says, I’m okay. I love you.

Park Si Eun and Jin Tae Hyun became a couple through the 2010 drama “Pure Pumpkin Flower” and dated for five years before getting married in 2015. The couple have been active together in volunteering and charity work since they started dating. During their volunteer work, they came to know a young university student, and eventually adopted her as their daughter. On SBS’s “Same Bed, Different Dreams – You Are My Destiny 2,” the couple talked about their daughter and their plans to have another child together, as well as their struggles with suffering multiple miscarriages.
