Lee Chung Ah Confirmed To Reunite With "Awaken" Co-Star Namgoong Min In New Drama "One Dollar Lawyer"

Another one of Namgoong Min’s former co-stars will be in “One Dollar Lawyer”!

“One Dollar Lawyer” will star Namgoong Min as Cheon Ji Hoon, a lawyer who only charges an attorney’s fee of 1,000 won (approximately $0.75) despite his renowned skills. A hero who comes to the rescue of clients without money or connections, Cheon Ji Hoon isn’t afraid of facing off against the rich and powerful who use expensive lawyers to escape the law.

Namgoong Min is working with “The Veil” co-star Kim Ji Eun in this drama, and on September 6, it was confirmed that his “Awaken” co-star Lee Chung Ah will also be starring in it.

In “One Dollar Lawyer,” Lee Chung Ah will be taking on the role of Lee Joo Young, an ace lawyer at Baek Law Firm who is filled with a sense of justice. She sides with the weak and believes that those who do wrong must pay for their crimes under the law.

“Awaken” is a murder mystery drama that follows the connections between mysterious events unfolding in the present and the secrets behind an enigmatic incident that took place in a village 28 years ago. Lee Chung Ah plays Jamie, an FBI detective who returns to the land of her birth after being adopted as a child, and Namgoong Min stars as Do Jung Woo, the team leader of a special task force at the National Police Agency.

In “One Dollar Lawyer,” the two actors will reunite as lawyers, and fans are anticipating what kind of synergy they will showcase this time.
