Watch: Han Ji Hyun, Bae In Hyuk, Jang Gyuri, And More Showcase Campus Life And Cheer Choreo In Making Teaser For New Rom-Com

SBS’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama “Cheer Up” (literal title) has previewed the exciting cheer squad in a making teaser!

“Cheer Up” is a new campus mystery rom-com about a college cheer squad whose glory days are long gone and is now on the verge of falling apart. Han Ji Hyun will star as Do Hae Yi, a rookie member of Yeonhee University’s cheer squad Theia, who has a cheerful personality despite facing difficult circumstances at home. Bae In Hyuk will play Theia’s oft-misunderstood captain Park Jung Woo, who is a romantic at heart, while Kim Hyun Jin will play fellow rookie Jin Seon Ho, a rich and handsome student who has always walked the elite path in life.

Jang Gyuri portrays Theia’s vice-captain Tae Cho Hee who has a cool, feisty, and refreshing personality. Hae Yi’s best friend and new Theia member Joo Sun Ja is played by Lee Eun Saem, while Yang Dong Geun will play the role of Bae Young Woong, a former squad member who hangs around Yeonhee University in Cheers, the pub he runs near the school. Lee Jung Joon, Han Soo Ah, and Park Bo Yeon also star as members of the university cheer squad Theia.

The newly released behind-the-scenes teaser captures what’s to come in the drama’s upcoming making videos as it shows the cast’s cute chemistry, their fun antics on campus, and their hard work and dedication while learning and executing their cheer squad choreography.

At the end, the caption teases, “A thrilling and romantic campus romantic comedy of brilliant youth.”
