Watch: Bae In Hyuk Makes Han Ji Hyun Scream With His Cheesiness Behind The Scenes Of "Cheer Up"

The behind-the-scenes video for Episode 12 of “Cheer Up” is here to bring some cheer to your day!

“Cheer Up” is a campus mystery rom-com about a college cheer squad whose glory days are long gone and is now on the verge of falling apart. Han Ji Hyun stars as Do Hae Yi, a rookie member of Yonhee University’s cheer squad Theia, who has a cheerful personality despite facing difficult circumstances at home. Bae In Hyuk stars as Theia’s often misunderstood captain Park Jung Woo, who is a firm stickler for the rules but is also a romantic at heart.

As viewers may already know all too well, the cast of “Cheer Up” is full of so much silliness and energy that it doesn’t seem like there is ever a boring day on set. Even when it’s a scene with just the two of them, Bae In Hyuk and Han Ji Hyun are relentless in their efforts to make each other laugh with silly ad-libs. As the two sit by the Han River for a date eating instant noodles and drinking beer, Han Ji Hyun comments, “This would be even better if I was drunk. Can I get drunk?” to which Bae In Hyuk instantly replies, “No, because you’re even prettier when you’re drunk.” Cue Han Ji Hyun screaming into her hands at the sheer cheesiness of that line. It appears that Bae In Hyuk is way more smooth and suave than he may be given credit for!

Then comes the scene where the team goes off to their retreat at a huge mansion, and Bae In Hyuk is back in his role as captain. He orders the team around, looking all serious with his shades and intimidating posture.

However, it appears that Jang Gyu Ri and Han Soo Ah don’t necessarily find him all that intimidating, both of them bursting out into laughter as Bae In Hyuk throws in some ad-libs while committing to the role.

Finally, there is the iconic scene where the team members throw their captain into the pool, with poor Bae In Hyuk having to endure getting soaked when the temperature is fairly cold. But Kim Hyun Jin, Hyun Woo Seok, and the other team members seem to have no qualms about it whatsoever, marking the scene a few times before throwing Bae In Hyuk in while laughing the entire time.
