Yoon Chan Young, Girl's Day's Minah, And Kim Min Seok To Star In New Ghostly Drama

Yoon Chan Young, Girl’s Day’s Minah, and Kim Min Seok are coming to the small screen in an all new drama!

Genie TV’s new original drama “Deliveryman” (literal title) will tell the story of a duo comprised of a taxi driver who is working to make ends meet and a ghost suffering from memory loss. Yoon Chan Young, Minah, and Kim Min Seok have been confirmed to take on the starring roles, and viewers can look forward to a drama that will be full of talent and eye-catching performances.

Yoon Chan Young will play Seo Young Min, a taxi driver who will take his passenger wherever they need to go so long as they pay him. He runs a “ghost-only” taxi business, the likes of which have never been seen before, fulfilling their wishes while giving them a lift.

Yoon Chan Young said, “I’m already excited to meet Seo Young Min. I’ll be sure to lend an ear to the ghosts and their innermost wants inside of these unique situations. I’ll work hard to impress viewers even more.”

Minah will be playing a ghost by the name of Kang Ji Hyun. She suffers from memory loss and soon finds herself catching a free ride in Seo Young Min’s taxi. She doesn’t even know who she herself is, but she has a fierce attitude and won’t stand down in the face of injustice. For reasons that she can’t even explain, Kang Ji Hyun is attached to Seo Young Min’s taxi and proclaims herself the manager of the ghost-only taxi. Thus ensues her crazy adventures with Seo Young Min, the two of them doing everything from resolving grudges of the deceased to chasing down serial killers.

Minah commented, “I’m honored to have been able to work with such amazing producers and co-stars. Thanks to them, there was always such a happy atmosphere on set. We’ve worked hard to film a memorable drama, so please look forward to it and give it lots of love.”

Kim Min Seok will play the handsome doctor Do Kyu Jin, who works to help the “crazy duo” that is Kang Ji Hyun and Seo Young Min. He is a workaholic emergency medical doctor who also has a special connection to Seo Young Min. As he goes about his work in the emergency room where people’s lives come and go with every passing second, Do Kyu Jin detects signs of something ominous. What could it possibly be?

Kim Min Seok shared, “Through this project, I’ve prepared diligently to do my best to show a new side of myself, which will be different from any of the other roles I’ve done before. It’s a drama I worked on together with great actors and staff, so please look forward to it.”
