Watch: Hyeri, Miyeon, Choi Ye Na, Kim Chaewon, Leejung, And Patricia Introduce Their Different Roles In Character Teaser For Upcoming Variety Show

ENA has dropped a fun character teaser for the colorful cast members of “HyeMiLeeYeChaePa”!

ENA’s “HyeMiLeeYeChaePa” is a new variety show starring Girl’s Day’s Hyeri, (G)I-DLE’s Miyeon, dance crew YGX’s Leejung, Choi Ye Na, LE SSERAFIM’s Kim Chaewon, and television personality Patricia. The program will take the concept of “interior decorating” to a whole new level in a mission-style format.

The program’s new teaser introduces the wildly different personalities of the six cast members by birth order and previews their unique chemistry. The clip starts with the stars walking around their new home and expressing shock as they realize it’s completely unfurnished. In order to eat, sleep, and do anything else, the cast must play games and win money.

First up is Hyeri, the oldest member of the bunch who leads the group and takes full charge of housekeeping duties. The avid team cheerleader eventually earns the nickname “mom” from the younger members and she proves their point by making sure everyone has their mics on and stays safe. However, her leadership takes a fall when the cast members hilariously realize how horrible she is at winning games.

The group’s “princess” is Miyeon, who is the second-oldest member. Unlike Hyeri, the passionate and competitive Miyeon quickly establishes a reputation as a “game genius.” Even while taking a quick nap, Miyeon immediately opens her eyes once their team quest begins before sitting up and calling out, “I’ve been waiting!”

Leejung is introduced as “an icon of being bold” as she utilizes her assertive personality to negotiate with the producers. With so much at stake, desperation forces Leejung to step up and make deals with the production team so that her team can win more money. Eventually, Leejung boldly states, “I will put my career and dancing on the line.” Although it initially appears as if she’s gotten through, the producers dramatically respond, “Congratulations on your retirement.”

Choi Ye Na is the leader of the show’s maknae line “YeChaePa,” who often forgets her standing in the cast’s birth order. While cooking, Choi Ye Na casually comments informally, “You saw that, right?” As soon as she realizes her mistake of speaking informally, she jokingly adds to Kim Chaewon and Patricia, “I was talking to you guys.” While Choi Ye Na is incredibly playful regularly, their heated games bring out her strict side, as she yells out “What are you doing?!” when Chaewon makes a mistake during their quest.

The only introvert in this mix is Kim Chaewon, who frustratedly comments, “I feel so drained. Drained by these people and drained by this question.” As everyone else’s tension just refuses to settle, Kim Chaewon calls out, “I want to be alone!” However, her shyness is momentary as she eventually ends up matching everyone else’s energy level. Feeling exasperated by a difficult game, Kim Chaewon cries out to a bewildered Choi Ye Na, “It’s your fault!,” earning her the description “introvert who’s hidden her strength.”

Last up is the group’s youngest member Patricia, who’s in charge of being cute and acting as she pleases, without worrying about what other people think. Patricia’s high energy and randomness will add a great deal of fun to the show, especially when paired with her adorable innocence, and her casting is described as a stroke of genius.
