March Variety Show Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from February 5 to March 5.
TV Chosun’s popular audition show “Mister Trot 2” defended its position at the top of the list with a brand reputation index of 15,412,830. High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “one-on-one match,” “national tour,” and “top 10,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “vote,” “battle,” and “advance.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 89.36 percent positive reactions.
MBN’s audition show “Fire Trot” similarly held onto its spot at second place with a brand reputation index of 8,877,792 for the month.
Meanwhile, tvN’s new variety show “Jinny’s Kitchen” debuted at third place on the list with a brand reputation index of 8,280,752 for March.
MBC’s “Home Alone” (“I Live Alone”) took fourth place with a brand reputation index of 7,503,664, marking a 9.64 percent increase in its score since last month.
Finally, SBS’s “Running Man” rounded out the top five for March with a brand reputation index of 4,387,992.
