Kim Seon Ho will not be starring in the drama “Hash’s Shinru” (working title), which he was previously in talks for.

On March 16, Kim Seon Ho’s agency SALT Entertainment shared, “[The actor] discussed starring in the drama ‘Hash’s Shinru,’ but he agreed with the production company that he will not star in the drama.”

“Hash’s Shinru” is a historical romance drama that follows the story of crown prince Lee Hyang, who is a scientist that loves the stars, and Hae Roo, a mysterious woman who sees the future. Author Yoon Yi Soo of the original web novel of the same name will be personally writing the script. Yoon Yi Soo is also the author behind the web novel that the popular drama “Love in the Moonlight” is based on.

Earlier in January, Kim Seon Ho was reported to be in talks for the role of the genius scientist Crown Prince Lee Hyang, but ultimately, he decided to turn down the casting offer. He is currently filming director Park Hoon Jung’s new film “Tyrant” (literal title).
