EXO's Kai And NewJeans Earn Double And Triple Crowns On Circle Weekly Charts

Circle Chart (formerly known as Gaon Chart) has revealed its chart rankings for the week of March 12 to 18!

Album Chart

EXO’s Kai topped Circle’s latest album chart with “Rover,” his third mini album that dropped on March 13. Debuting at No. 2 was NewJeans’ self-titled debut EP that was originally released back in August and recently went triple platinum.

Taking over the third and fourth place spots was SEVENTEEN with their older releases. The group’s seventh mini album “Heng:garæ” debuted in the No. 3 spot while their 2021 album “Attacca” stayed strong at No. 4.

Closing out the top five was SHINee’s Onew’s first full album “Circle.”

Download Chart

EXO’s Kai scored a double crown on Circle’s new weekly charts with his second No. 1 coming on the download chart!

Entering the chart at No. 2 was BTS’s Jimin’s pre-release track “Set Me Free Pt. 2” from his upcoming solo album “FACE.” In third place was “Wish Lanterns” by Lee Chan Won, followed by “London Boy” by Lim Young Woong in No. 4.

Lastly, “How Do You Play” project group WSG Wannabe (Gaya-G)’s new track “To You” made its debut on this week’s download chart at No. 5.

Overall Digital + Streaming Chart

For yet another week, NewJeans dominated the overall digital chart, streaming chart, and Global K-Pop chart, maintaining their triple crown.

This week, the new digital and streaming charts are completely identical with NewJeans “Ditto,” “OMG,” and “Hype Boy” holding on to their positions in first to third place.

On both charts, STAYC’s latest title track “Teddy Bear” came in No. 4 while Younha’s “Event Horizon” ranked at No 5.

Global K-Pop Chart

There was little change on this week’s Global K-pop chart with NewJeans’ staying strong at No. 1 with “OMG” and No. 2 with “Ditto.” Additionally, NewJeans’ “Hype Boy” maintained its spot at No. 4.

Also holding on to its No. 3 position was BTS’s J-Hope’s “on the street” (with J. Cole), while his BTS teammate Jimin debuted at No. 5 with his pre-release track “Set Me Free Pt. 2.”

Social Chart

The top five of Circle’s social chart remained the same this week, with BLACKPINK on top, followed by BTS, NewJeans, Choi Yu Ree, and TWICE.

Congratulations to all the artists!
