"Peak Time," "Boys Planet," Shin Ye Eun, And Teen Top Take Top Spots On Lists Of Most Buzzworthy Non-Drama TV Shows & Appearances

JTBC’s “Peak Time” beat out Mnet’s “Boys Planet” to become the most buzzworthy non-drama TV show of the week!

For the second time since its premiere, the idol survival show “Peak Time” climbed back up to No. 1 on Good Data Corporation’s list of the non-drama TV shows that generated the most buzz over the past week. The company determines each week’s rankings by analyzing data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media posts about non-drama TV shows that are currently airing or set to air soon.

Not only did “Peak Time” top the list of most buzzworthy non-drama TV shows, but its contestant VANNER—who goes by the name Team 11:00 on the show—also came in at No. 9 on the list of most buzzworthy TV appearances.

Mnet’s popular idol audition show “Boys Planet” stayed strong at No. 2 this week, followed by TV Chosun’s “Mister Trot 2” at No. 3 and tvN’s “Jinny’s Kitchen” at No. 4. Meanwhile, “Mister Trot 2” contestants Ahn Sung Hoon and Park Ji Hyun ranked No. 1 and No. 5 respectively on this week’s list of most buzzworthy appearances.

Shin Ye Eun took No. 3 on the list for her guest appearance on MBC’s “The Manager” (which ranked No. 7 on the list of shows), while Teen Top came in at No. 4 for their buzzed-about appearance on MBC’s “How Do You Play?” (No. 9 on the list of shows).
