TWICE, TXT, BTS, Stray Kids, NCT 127, NewJeans, And BLACKPINK Claim Top Spots On Billboard’s World Albums Chart

Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on April 1!

TWICE’s new mini album “READY TO BE” spent its second consecutive week at No. 1, in addition to charting at No. 11 in its second week on the Billboard 200. After achieving the biggest U.S. sales week of any K-pop girl group album in history upon its release, “READY TO BE” is already the third best-selling album (of any genre) in the United States this year.

TWICE’s previous mini album “BETWEEN 1&2” also stayed strong at No. 14 in its 26th non-consecutive week on the World Albums chart.

Meanwhile, TXT’s latest mini album “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” remained stable at No. 2 in its eighth consecutive week on the World Albums chart. The mini album—which has sold more copies than any other album (of any genre) in the United States this year—also spent its eighth week in a row on the Billboard 200.

BTS’s anthology album “Proof” climbed back up to No. 4 in its 41st consecutive week on the World Albums chart, while their 2020 album “Map of the Soul: 7” held onto its spot at No. 8 in its 131st week. RM’s solo album “Indigo” also held steady at No. 13 in its 16th week on the chart.

Stray Kids’ “MAXIDENT” climbed back up to No. 5 in its 21st non-consecutive week on the World Albums chart, followed by NCT 127’s repackaged album “Ay-Yo” in its third consecutive week.

NewJeans’ debut EP “New Jeans” maintained its position at No. 10 in its 24th non-consecutive week on the chart, and BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” rounded out the top 15 in its 104th week.

Congratulations to all of the artists!
