Joo Won Works Hard To Maintain His Strict Double Life In

“Stealer: The Treasure Keeper” is set to dive into Joo Won’s painful past!

tvN’s “Stealer: The Treasure Keeper” is a new caper comic action drama in which a mysterious cultural asset thief Skunk and an unofficial heritage redemption team known as Team Karma collaborate to fight against those who cannot be judged by the law. Joo Won takes on the double role of both Hwang Dae Myung, a civil servant of the Cultural Heritage Administration, and the mysterious cultural asset thief Skunk.

Episode 2 of the drama will delve into the story that resulted in Hwang Dae Myung living a double life as Skunk. In the premiere episode, Hwang Dae Myung showcased his bittersweet lifestyle as a bored civil servant with no enthusiasm for his work. However, everything changed at night when Hwang Dae Myung became cultural asset thief Skunk. Wearing an all-black suit with state-of-the-art equipment, Skunk appeared on the scene like a hero, quickly conquered his targets, and made his escape.

With such contrasting sides to his double life, viewers were inevitably left with many questions about Hwang Dae Myung’s story and identity. The drama’s latest stills look to slowly peel off layers of the clumsy civil servant to look deeper into his secretive personal life.

The first photo captures Hwang Dae Myung’s dedication to exercise, which explains how Skunk is able to throw himself from high-rise buildings without hesitation and take on a group of enemies all at once. As he drips in sweat while focusing intently on his workout, it’s hard to believe that this is the same man who sits lazily and uncomfortably at his office desk every day.

After his workout, Hwang Dae Myung exercises his mind while admiring a photo, but there’s a hint of sadness in his expression. As Hwang Dae Myung was influenced by his father, a former archaeologist, to become a civil servant of the Cultural Heritage Administration, curiosity is rising even more to learn how he ended up living such a dramatic double life.

Find out the answers to all these questions on the next episode of “Stealer: The Treasure Keeper,” which airs on April 13 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
