Jang Nara, Jang Hyuk, And Chae Jung An Share A Tense And Emotional Exchange In "Family"

tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Family” has shared a sneak peek of what’s coming in the next episode!

“Family” tells the story of a National Intelligence Service (NIS) black agent husband who is undercover as an ordinary office worker and a sweet but fierce wife who dreams of having a perfect family. The drama marks Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara’s fourth project together and their first collaboration in nine years.

The premiere episode of “Family” depicted the secret double life of Kwon Do Hoon (Jang Hyuk) who works as a NIS black agent. His wife Kang Yoo Ra (Jang Nara), who got angry at her husband’s boss Oh Cheon Ryun—”Manager Oh” (Chae Jung An)—for repeatedly summoning him every time there was a family event, invited Manager Oh to her house. Yoo Ra believed Manager Oh to be a man, but she found out that Manager Oh is actually a woman, foreshadowing a whirlwind of trouble between Do Hoon and Yoo Ra.

Amidst this situation, the newly released stills capture the three-way meeting between Kang Yoo Ra, Kwon Do Hoon, and Oh Cheon Ryun. Yoo Ra, who realized for the first time that Manager Oh is a woman, sends a wary gaze toward her with anger, creating tension.

On the other hand, Cheon Ryun’s eyes are red as if she is about to burst into tears soon. There is a feeling of bewilderment in her expression since she does not understand the situation.

Do Hoon is restless while seated in between his wife Yoo Ra and his boss Cheon Ryun. He stares into empty space, feeling both nervous and desperate to escape the uncomfortable situation. The still also captures Yoo Ra who is crying hard behind Do Hoon, raising viewers’ curiosity about the married couple’s future.
